Occasional Liquor Licence

When is this licence required?
You will need this licence if you intend to sell and supply liquor at an event, occasion or function that is cannot be covered by another type of licence.
Examples of occasions that may require this licence include:
- a community celebration, such as a cultural festival, significant commemoration, religious event or street festival
- a food, beverage and tourism festival, such as an event showcasing wine, beer or food which is predominantly produced in Western Australia
- an arts or entertainment event, such as an outdoor cinema, or an event with local, national or international acts.
What are the eligibility requirements for this licence?
Eligibility requirements will vary depending on the occasion for which a licence is being sought. As a general rule, the occasional licence will not be granted if the consumption of alcohol appears to be the primary purpose of the event.
